In this book, author has tried to make it clear witth the reference of islamic scriptures that the world `islam` is the negation of the concept of violence. It is neither a religion of violence, nor violence is integral to this religion. Islam means surrender to the will of god in the one hand, and establishing peace on the other. The world for peace in arabic is `salam. When muslim greet each other, they invoke peace - `salam alaykum: ( peace be on you). Thus, it is a religious duty of muslim to strive for establishment of peace in society. A muslim is one who surrender to the will of allah and an establisher of peace. Thus islam means establishment of peace and muslim means establisher of peace through his action and conduct.
