SANGAM MELODY The Orient BlackSwan Term Book is a new series of term books that incorporates General Knowledge and Computers in addition to the core subjects of English, Mathematics, EVS, Science and Social Studies. This set of 15 books is patterned as follows. 1. Sangam Melody Class 1,2; Terms 1-3 consisting of English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies and General Knowledge. 2. Sangam Melody Class 3-5; Terms 1-3 consisting of English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computers and General Knowledge. The teaching of English in Sangam Melody aims at integrating linguistic knowledge and skills into communicative strategies for real-life situations, through activity-based methods such as role-play, pair work and group work. It also emphasizes on study skills, creative skills, interpersonal skills and occupational skills. Mathematics follows a step-by-step approach, emphasizing concepts and skills.
