Mechanics for JEE Main and Advanced: Fully Solved (Volume - 1) is the first book in the Disha Physics IIT JEE Super Physics Series written to suit the pattern of the new JEE.
Summary Of The Book
The JEE or the Joint Entrance Examination is now a national qualifying exam written to gain admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institute of Science, National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institute of Information Technology and Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. The exam is held in two phases. Phase I, called the JEE Main and Phase II, called the JEE Advanced. The former is to gain admission into the NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutions, while the latter is to gain admission into the IITs, IIT-BHU, and ISM Dhanbad. The exam has two papers as well. Paper 1 is to gain admission into the B.E. and B.Tech programmes and Paper 2 is to gain admission into the B.Arch and B.Planning programmes.
The subjects students are tested on are Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The syllabi for these subjects is prescribed by CBSE for classes 11 and 12.
