ABDUL RASHID MOTEN is Professor of Political Science at the International Islamic University Malaysia. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Alberta, Canada and has been teaching at university level for about 35 years in various countries. He has authored and edited 12 books, three monographs and contributed over 70 articles in internationally refereed journals. He is the editor of Intellectual Discourse, a journal published by the International Islamic University Malaysia.
SYED SERAJUL ISLAM is Chair and Professor of Political Science at Lakehead University, Canada. He received his Ph.D. from McGill University and taught at the International Islamic University Malaysia, McGill University, and the University of Dhaka. He was a visiting Fulbright Scholar at the University of Iowa, U.S.A. in 1998. He has published 8 books and almost 70 articles in internationally refereed journals.
