This book emanates from a desire to make some contribution towards improving the ferrtility level of our animals, by presenting in non-technical language the many breeding problems that confront the stock owner. Where scientific terms other technicalterms that are not elucidated in this manner are defined in the glossary at the end of the book. This work is therefore intendedmainly for the use of stock owners, breeders, agricultural students, insemination technicians and sterility workers in the hope that it will assist in improving the notoriously low breeding efficiency of our herds and flocks, and so raise the level of animal production as regards both quantity and quality.
