Tajul Ma`athir ( The Crown of Glorious Deeds ) is one of the rarliest works on Indian medieval history and the first book on Delhi Sultanate. The work has been surroundedf by controversy in that ehile some regard it as a trustworthy source of history, for others it is devoid of historical material.
