About the Author
Freda Bedi met her husband Baba Bedi at Oxford University and moved to Lahore with him after
their marriage. She remained in India all her life and had three children, Ranga, Kabir, and Gulhima.
Rhymes for Ranga was written in the 1930s and 40s for her eldest son Ranga Bedi.
