Dr. Sudha Shivaraj, MD (Pathology), began her career as a tutor in Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India, where she taught medical students for 3 years. Later on, she worked as a consultant and laboratory-in-charge of Baptist Hospital, Bangalore, India, for 4 years where she taught pathology to DNB postgraduates of all specialities in addition to nursing and medical laboratory technology students. At present, Dr. Shivaraj is in private practice and runs a laboratory for provision of state-of-the-art diagnostic services to suburban Bangalore.
Dr. Satish Kumar Amarnath, MD (Microbiology), is currently the Head of Quality, Compliance and Outreach Services, Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, a position he acquired after serving as Medical Director, Manipal Cure and Care, Bangalore, a division of Manipal Health Enterprises Private Limited. He has 25 years of teaching experience in premier institutes such as Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry, India, as an Associate Professor (microbiology) and later as the Co-ordinator of Distance Education, Manipal Hospital. Dr. Amarnath has 30 papers to his credit in national and international medical journals and a total of over 100 presentations. His area of special interest include infectious diseases, hospital infection control, HIV social and disease management, brucellosis, tuberculosis and autoimmune disorders. He has worked as an investigator in many HIV serosurveillance studies and as a principal investigator in various multi-centric researches. He has also trained paramedical and postgraduate students.
Dr. Sheela Devi, MD (Pathology), is currently working as Associate Professor, Department of Pathology, JSS Medical College, Mysore, India. She has 14 years of experience in teaching undergraduate, postgraduate and paramedical students. Dr. Sheela has 12 papers and 20 presentations to her credit.
