Within physics degrees, one of the growing areas of interest for students has been in the field of Biophysics and medical physics. These areas are being driven by research developments and student interest. Biophysics tends to be a broader, more general area where both physics and biology crossover. Medical physics is applied more to treatment and predominantly techniques.
