This is a manual of anesthetic methods for general duty doctors who are not specialist anesthetists; for medical students, and for medical assistants. Although it is mainly intended for countries of the developing world where there is little money available for health care and a great lack of specialist anesthetists, it will also be useful to anyone who has to give an anesthetic unexpectedly and whose previous experience is limited.
