This is the second volume of Selected Papers of C.R. Rao. It contains 35 papers written during the period 1955-1965, on Statistical Inference, Design of Experiments, Multivariate Analysis, Characterizations of Distributions, Generalized Inverse of Matrices and their Applications and Weighted Distributions. In addition to being historically important, the papers remain relevant and are referred to in current literature.
As with Volume I, the papers that have originally appeared in various publications have been retypeset to maintain uniformity in presentation.
Work on the third volume is in progress and is expected to be released soon.
