The present book first appeared in 1996 and was very well received by the teachers and students of B.Com. (Hons.),Second year of the University of Delhi. A second edition appeared in 1998 and a third edition (incorporating numerical examples for the practice of students) in 2001. All these editions went through some reprints as well.
